In 1990, Florencio De La Rosa founded DRM Contractors, with the previous name of De La Rosa Maintenance. With only 2 employees, Florencio started working doing handyman jobs for Kevin Heenan from Ricketts and Associates in properties located in the Santa Ana and Costa Mesa areas. He then came upon a prestigious company with which he worked many years called Optima Asset Management. After being offered employment by the owner, Florencio and his company grew as he started to have opportunities to do more commercial work. DRM Contractors started to grow over the years and working with Optima Asset Management was a great experience. As the company expanded, DRM Contractors moved to its current location in Newport Beach that includes a warehouse to accommodate material needed for jobs and equipment for TI’s and construction build outs.
